Automated Group Manager saved the day!
Thanks to Automated Group manager we were able to quickly and easily write rules around our community group membership. The package was easy to use. We did have one support request come up which was responded to very quickly. Thank you, GearDesign!

Makes life easier
This app is especially useful for those who know their way around Salesforce, but are not developers and therefore, are not well versed in Apex. I was scouring the Trailblazer Community knowledge articles for a way to overcome the "Mixed DML Operation" error that would result when I tried using the process builder to automatically add a new Salesforce user to a chatter group. Buried in one of those articles was a link to this nifty app. It claimed to do exactly what I needed and I installed it immediately. The installation process was very quick and easy. Upon testing it, I ran into an issue, which GearsDesign was very quick in helping me to resolve. Thanks to this app I am now able to automate the process of adding new users to a chatter group. Highly recommend this app and also recommend emailing GearsDesign's support should you have any questions about the functionality of this package.
Big win for our Org!
This app is so nice to have for those of us with Orgs with a variety of specific requirements around Group assignments. It pretty much eliminated any need to depend on Apex triggers and handed control back to the Administrator. It's always a big win for us when we can migrate tasks from code to config. You'll definitely need to get a handle on using invocable methods in Process Builder (or Flows), but its so straight forward. Thanks for this app!
