HLC wanted to leverage the power of Salesforce to track and manage the complex processes involved in the accreditation of higher learning institutions. AmericanEagle.com established a highly skilled and diverse project team to work on this project with HLC for more than two years. They helped us to organize our requirements, reviewed and learned the processes we needed to support in Salesforce, identified supporting technology (such as Jitterbit and Conga), developed a flexible architecture, and applied agile methodologies to ensure that our IT, SMEs, and general staff were included and up to date as the project progressed. They were creative in solving problems to stay within scope and budget. Our biggest challenge on the project was the data migration - taking proprietary and poorly structured data and moving it into the format proved to be a much larger undertaking than anyone initially anticipated. However, once the data was finessed into the system, the launch went smoothly and our staff, who had been kept involved in the process, were able to easily transition. We are going to continue working with AmericanEagle.com as we embark on phase 2 of this project to add additional data and functionality.
