Overview

With Kimble’s Supplier Portal API, you can build a supplier portal and integrate it with Kimble PSA - you have the freedom to choose which technology and design work best for your supplier pool.

  • Supplier Portals can be an effective means of achieving on-going engagement with a network of suppliers (i.e. contractors or associates) who are not permanent employees but form part of a wider resource pool for conducting project delivery.

  • The Supplier Portal API provides a service layer to selected Kimble objects, including the supplier's capabilities, experience, and availability, allowing those objects to be viewed and maintained from an external application.

  • The Supplier Portal API can be used by any technology layer capable of making REST API requests and accepting data formatted in JSON format. (Development skills and environments will be required to develop the user interface of a Supplier Portal.)

With the Kimble Supplier Portal API, you will have the ability to build a portal which can provide suppliers with the ability to: - View the profile information held on their Kimble Resource record - Update the company information held on their Contact and Account records - View and maintain their Experience History - Access documents stored as Attachments on their Resource records - View and maintain their Resource Capabilities - View and maintain periods of unavailability using Assignments
