Additional Details
Available as an unmanaged package on Salesforce Labs, the Salesforce CPQ & Billing and B2B Commerce Connector gives you a blueprint for synchronizing product & pricing data, unifying channel experiences, and aligning order history. Use the connector to configure your direct and e-commerce sales channels to work together as a unified buying experience for customers. The connector supports four basic use cases: sync product catalogs, sync price books, convert cart to quote, and sync order history. Each use case can be enabled independently, giving you have the flexibility to customize the connector to support your unique needs. You can also disable use cases one at a time should you need to perform maintenance or troubleshoot. The connector was built with @future methods called through triggers where possible. However, you can also configure it to use Platform Events, scheduled batch classes (required for the price book use case), or a queue-able framework or mechanism. Review the technical documentation on each component to determine which method will work best in your org.
