BDO's Salesforce team were exceptional. We were introduced to BDO's Partner leading this practice when we were wrapping up an unsuccessful consulting engagement with a different vendor. There was a large amount of technical debt and lack of process in place, but at the time we lacked the technology leadership in our own business to set things straight. BDO's team stepped in and, with our complete support, took control of the situation. They diagnosed the situation and mapped out a plan to address the technical and process challenges we faced, all while ensuring our business operated while the work was underway. It was not an easy project. Looking back, the value that BDO brought us was an immense depth of experience. They had the war wounds to understand the complexity and scope of problems they were looking at. They knew the Salesforce product inside and out, and fully understood the potential benefits we could realize with this wonderful technology. Nobody is perfect, and I have thought carefully about what we might have done differently to gain more value from the engagement. Although BDO was certainly good at listening and asking questions to tease out the important factors in a situation, I feel our own team (myself included) did not speak up enough at the beginning of the project to provide BDO with deeper business knowledge related to our company. If I were to give someone advice before working with BDO, it would be to take time upfront to map out specifically what business knowledge BDO needs in order to make good decisions and do their job effectively. Tackling that early on will improve the degree of the project's success. And finally, the acid test... yes, if I have the chance in the future I would hire BDO's Salesforce practice again.

Partnership with BDO Digital has been beneficial to TWC and our users (internal and regional stakeholders) and has necessitated a significant investment in project delivery services (including governance, enablement/adoption), development and deployment, and related application support services. After TWC identified the need, we worked together to adopt and enhance a delivery process that allowed for timely scoping and estimating with appropriate contingency, and effective agile delivery and deployment in 2-week sprints. Feedback from users across the regional districts indicates that they appreciate the TWCHub application that was built on the Salesforce platform. It allows effective, user-friendly CRM capabilities and facilitates timely, accurate reporting from our pastors and churches to TWC via an integration with Survey Vista. Our executive team appreciates that consolidated annual reports are available to them much earlier, thus enabling timely decision-making.

The BDO Digital team is very knowledgeable with regards to Marketing Automation needs and the rollout or transfer to a new system. We migrated from Eloqua to Pardot and there were a lot of moving parts that they project managed including IP warming, data migration and data archiving. They collaborate well and if you want, as we did, they will teach you the process of setting up a new MAP rather than just doing it themselves and handing off the final result. They are a true partner in every sense of the word.

Partner is very thorough in their discovery process and has a very capable team. Keep in mind that they will design to the "best practice" which may not be a one-size-fits-all solution. You will need to represent some of the intricacies if your own database and business to make sure the solution is designed accordingly.
