Salesforce CMS (Content Management System) operates on the concept of content types, or a templated block of content with common metadata. Salesforce provides a default News content type, and Salesforce customers can create their own custom content types to model the web content they are creating. Content type creation is done programmatically, using the Metadata API. The CMS Content Type Manager allows you to delete, edit, create and clone custom CMS content types through an intuitive graphical UI based in Salesforce Lightning Experience.
