The following is an overview of Travelon’s experience with Tejas Software regarding the development and integration of the Travelonbags.com website on the SFCC platform. Travelon’s integration had many inherent problems that would require an integration partner with solid technical experience beyond site development on the SFCC platform for the following reasons. We have an ERP without an OMS nor APIs. A path to and from our SFCC site and our ERP required custom code to build a path between the two. Gillian APIs, Cybersource payment processer, bank processer, and shipping system all needed to be integrated as well. Lastly, we also needed a process for order and inventory upload/download, to and from the SFCC site and ERP. We needed the site to be ADA (American Disabilities Act) compliant, integrate Yotpo Reviews and Visual Marketing Suite and Paypal. To keep future development costs down we wanted the site to be totally “out of the box” with a look that is custom via layout and visual presentation. We created a design that allows for expansive merchandising, shop-the-look experience, video-heavy spaces, leveraged our social media, and abandon cart and auto promo code emails for sign-ups. The site design needed a developer that could follow the style-driven nature of our brand. We wanted a site built with Page Builder for future on-site promotional rotations, and the ability to change the look and feel as needed – without costly development. With the out of the box solution, we will be able to keep both customization and maintenance costs low while we grow our online business. Within the process of developing all of the above, we would recreate all of our product and lifestyle assets for the site. The depth of which was substantial. As a traditional B2B company, we found we needed to drive a stronger B2C presence with the shifts in retail and the consolidation of online sellers. Tejas works quickly and with little oversite. They did a great job of matching the features and capabilities of the platform with our business goals and helped remove any roadblocks we identified together with the end result being a fast and reliable eCom website. Even after final payment was made and we launched the site, Tejas continued to make sure everything was working good and jumped on and fixed any issues by the next day. They have a great team and I look forward to working with them again on our next website.
