Overview

The process of generating an xml containing your org's metadata, to be used with Apache's Ant build tool requires several manual steps, it is error prone ant time consuming... until now!

  • This easy to use app checks your org for new and changed metadata, allowing you to select which ones you want to include in a build xml file.

  • The process is fully guided and allows fine tuning of which metadata is included, e.g. filtering by creation date, metadata name & type etc

  • Try it yourself!, it is as easy as: 1) Install the app 2) Open the corresponding tab in Salesforce. Select which entities you want to use 3) Fine tune selection filtering by dates, names etc. Generate xml file. Done!

Automates the process of generating an xml file for performing a file-based deployment of metadata changes and Apex classes from a Developer Edition or sandbox org to a production org using Apache's Ant build tool. This app targets all types of customers that have a need to do keep developments in sync across two or more Salesforce orgs. The app allows specifying filters on date, metadata type, name etc to fine tune what is included in the xml file.
