Additional Details
Matchbox is multi-purpose matching utility that can match people to any kind of limited resource such as virtual networking events, projects, or even other people. Matchbox utilizes innovative matching mechanisms that have been successfully used to solve some of the most challenging social problems. Additionally, a new and efficient diversity algorithm is included and can be used to tailor matches towards maximizing diversity. Matchbox is easy to setup and configure for any admin and does not require delving into complicated code. HOW IT WORKS 1) An admin sets up a collection of resources such as a set of virtual networking events. 2) People select which resources they prefer and in the order they prefer them. 3) When everyone is done with selections or at a specific time, the admin runs the matching mechanism. 4) The matching mechanism tries varies combinations until it finds the most fair allocation of resources.
