Overview
Ever needed to show a table containing data from an external system in Salesforce? Omega CRM has built a great, yet simple to use, Lightning Component that facilitates the creation of a table that shows information coming from an external system.
Configure in 3 easy steps: 1) Install package
2) Edit page layout -> include component -> configure REST endpoint , filters and authentication information
3) Done!
Omega CRM's RESTTABLE component is a free to use Lightning Component that allows embedding a table inside any Salesforce page layout. The component can be configured to securely access information that is available at a REST endpoint, sending an optional filtering parameter and retrieving information using standard HTTPS protocol. Information is then rendered in a custom Table component that shows live information from the external system. No need to worry about storage utilization since the information is only kept in memory for as long as the page is open.
