Good app with support
The app is good but I asked a question in the GitHub forum and actually got a reply! Thanks for helping.
Amazing Timeline view!
Hi, We all love the amazing Timeline view! It is a fantastic app! One question - the emails to/from contacts are not showing up in Timeline view on Account's page. They are showing in the activity timeline though. Are there any ways to show them in the Timeline view as well please? Thanks very much.
Hi June - thanks for the review. We encourage the community to have a discussion here (https://github.com/deejay-hub/timeline-lwc/discussions). Recreating an issue can be impossible from a short description, given the number of possible configuration options. Previous discussion like this one - https://github.com/deejay-hub/timeline-lwc/discussions/178 - show that we typically get the best results from people sharing a way to recreate an issue - or at least describe what they need/expect - in a test environment with some test data - with screen shots.
How about showing Order object related to a Case?
We have Order object related to Case, but I cannot see the Orders related to the Cases or even Orders related to Person Accounts. Also I am interested in displaying custom objects related to Cases via Orders and custom objects related to Person Accounts? Possible or not?
Hi Sille. You can add most standard and custom objects by adding to the metadata that supports Time Warp. So adding Orders to Cases would be possible and custom objects related to Person Account also possible. Check out the FAQ and Config Guide under the More Details tab above. If you need help you can review existing questions here (https://github.com/deejay-hub/timeline-lwc/discussions) like this one (https://github.com/deejay-hub/timeline-lwc/discussions/166). Plotting records that are grand children to a parent record (which I think is what is meant by displaying custom objects related to Cases via Order) is not currently possible.
Great functionnalities ! but question about logged emails
emails are logged as tasks (and therefore attached files do not appear in the timewrap) how can I make email attachments appear in it?
Hi Andrine. Thanks for the positive review. At the moment Time Warp plots children to a Parent. So for a Contact, for example, we let users plot Tasks and EmailMessage object records related to the Parent the Contact in this example so you can see all emails sent and received. The Attachment object would be a child to an EmailMessage record and as such would be a grandchild to the Contact (since each email can have more than one attachment). We do not currently allow this. At the moment the user has to click on the email to be taken to that record to then see the related Attachments. I hope that helps.
Awesome app
this application is what the companies needs in terms of related info in a graphical view.
Great Visualization
Looking to adopt for other custom objects now.
Recommend App!
This is a really useful and visually clear app. I just have a small request: is it possible to filter the timeline by hours instead of only by days? Right now it seems to only display objects/contents in daily order, but I’d like to be able to narrow it down by specific hours. For example, filtering the history to show only entries from 09/29/2025 between 3:00–6:00 PM.
Great app with support
Installed a month ago and like the way we can set it up the way we need. I raised a question on github and had it answered in a day. Thanks.
Issue with Zoom in Functionality
The features are app are excellent. I have one question regarding the "Zoom Based on" on edit page. as per the tool tip and guide it can be adjusted to Zoom to current date ,Last activity, first activity. But i have found that when i shift the Zoom based on to last activity it is not zooming to the lastest record on timeline. can you please help me on this.
Hi Nithisha. I can try and help but would need some more info. Typically it's easier to have a discussion on GitHub (https://github.com/deejay-hub/timeline-lwc/discussions). Ideally I would need as much info and screenshots as possible to be able to recreate what you're seeing. If you are happy to raise a discussion on GitHub - and include info - then I'll try and replicate it to see what's happening. My expectation is that if it doesn't zoom based on the date of the last record found based on the filter then it's a defect but it can be hard to replicate without understanding the setup.
Suggestion For New Feature
Hey team, this app is definitely awesome and can solve lots of our reps pain points of not able to clearly understand client & sales engagement history. Just one piece of advice: can we enable this feature to support selection of custom objects in types to show? We have some custom object indicating customer activities including signup, submitting certain service application forms etc. Enabling them to be displayed in the timeline will be super helpful
Hi Frank. You can add most standard and custom objects by adding to the metadata that supports Time Warp. Check out the FAQ and Config Guide under the More Details tab above. Hi Dave, many thanks for sharing the links.
