This connector is designed to synchronize Salesforce Billing details into a single Finance Transaction object, providing a simplified and consolidated view of your financial activity. From there, your ERP can consume the transaction level data from the Finance Transactions object for purposes of financial reporting and revenue recognition. This single source of truth optimizes data management and greatly improves the efficiency and effectiveness of your data integration. As a matter of definition: The Finance Transactions object holds details about every financial action performed against each financial record. Finance Balance Snapshots show details on the state of a financial record's values following an action such as posting an invoice or allocating a payment to an invoice line. Snapshot data includes invoice amounts, open balances, A/R aging, bad debt, and other configurable values using current and historical data.
