Overview

Administrators can keep track of data access requests and manage approval process for new data access requests. This Flow combines templates that Admins can customize to use with a basic Orchestration Flow routing approvals across a variety of teams.

  • Administrators organize and monitor approvals for people and projects requesting new access to data in Salesforce. The business reason supporting access to Salesforce Data gets stored right in Salesforce.

  • Dynamic approvals include business leaders, business owners of the data, and System Administrators. Approvals don't have to be pre-configured, Administrators can locate the right Business Owner and route the approval to the appropriate User.

  • Review data sensitivity levels and route the access request to a primary business owner specific to the data being requested. Whether you have strict data governance rules or not, track and store data access approvals to help answer the question of why.

With this Flow Orchestration, Administrators approve and track of Data Access Requests for new system integrations and reporting needs across the company. Administrators can coordinate with data managers to ensure that Data Access Requests meet requirements based on the data sensitivity level set on fields in Salesforce. If you aren’t using business owner and data sensitivity on fields, this application offers a basic access request tracking process. Data Access Request Orchestration combines Flow Orchestration with Flow Templates so you can update them to meet your specific business needs. This application is primarily for tracking basic approvals and information related to data access request forms. It is not intended to manage your compliance needs. For more complex data compliance concerns, please consider other AppExchange solutions as well.
