Doesn't work
- The "Search Record Using Folder Name" doesn't show an option for NO-FOLDER, which are 99% of our documents - The "Converted Documents (Files)" tab doesn't show a checkbox to delete the original Documents, so there is no way you can first check the conversion was good and then delete the original docs. - The "Convert All Documents" is completely useless, after checking the "Convert all documents to Files" checkbox and the "Convert to Files" button, the error message "Select any document to convert to files" appears , but there is nothing to select!
User Testing
Hello AppyCrown Team, I installed the app and used it, and I also tested it thoroughly in all conditions. The app works perfectly, and I recommend it to users. I will also use it for my clients if necessary.
Thank you for your detailed feedback, Montanari. We truly value your input as it helps us improve the app experience. Let me address your concerns: 1. Reported Issue: The "Search Record Using Folder Name" doesn't show an option for NO-FOLDER, which are 99% of our documents. Finding: We tested this in a fresh Salesforce org and confirmed that standard folders are displayed correctly when using the "Search Record Using Folder Name" feature. Additionally, We created new folders and verified they appear in the search. If documents without folders are not visible in your org, we would be happy to assist you further to resolve this on a quick call. 2. Reported Issue: The "Converted Documents (Files)" tab doesn't show a checkbox to delete the original documents, making it difficult to verify and delete them post-conversion. Finding: Currently, the "Converted Documents (Files)" tab is designed to display only converted documents. The feature to delete original documents post-conversion is not yet available. However, this is a fantastic suggestion, and we will prioritise adding it in a future release. 3. Reported Issue: The "Convert All Documents" feature gives an error message ("Select any document to convert to files") even after selecting the "Convert All Documents to Files" checkbox and clicking the "Convert to Files" button. Finding: This feature works as intended, provided permissions and data configurations are correctly set. If no documents are available for conversion in your org, the error message will appear. I recommend verifying the permissions in your Org to ensure documents are accessible for conversion. We’re happy to assist with troubleshooting if needed on quick call. We are constantly working on enhancements, and your feedback helps us prioritise the most impactful updates. If you face further issues or would like personalised support, please reach out to us at contact@appycrown.com Thank you for your query, Lokanatha. We are excited to share that the requested feature—converting documents directly into specific libraries within Files—has been added and is now live! We strive to incorporate user feedback to enhance the app experience. If you have further suggestions or need assistance using this feature, feel free to contact us. We appreciate your support and look forward to hearing your thoughts on this update. Thanks and regards, Raksha Salesforce Account Executive AppyCrown
