Additional Details
The look and feel of this component are similar to the standard and custom objects related lists. As you can see in the various presented screenshots, the plural label of the big object is displayed on top-left, with the number of the records loaded between parenthesis. In the top-right, we have a pick-list, from which we can choose how many records, we would like to load. In other words, the maximum number of records to display in this related list including the client-side pagination. This is a tricky part, since there are many technical limitations for the big objects, and because of that we cannot have a server-side pagination. To sum up, as an end user, I will simply choose, how many records to load in total and can only navigate through them. This part is well explained if you hover the info icon next to this pick-list. The body contains the records, that can be displayed in two modes : Table or Tiles. And on the very bottom we have a button ‘View More’, from which we can see more records from those loaded as explained previously. When all of the loaded records are displayed, and you try to click ‘View More’ a Toast is shown to notify and warn the end-user about this.
