Available as an unmanaged package on Salesforce Labs, the Salesforce CPQ and B2B Commerce for Lightning Experience Connector gives you a blueprint for unifying channel experiences and aligning order history. Use the connector to configure your direct and commerce channels to work together as a unified experience for buyers. The connector supports two methods for converting commerce carts to CPQ Quotes: a basic method and an advanced method. The basic method is initiated from the cart page, and directly creates a CPQ Quote from the buyer cart. The advanced method pushes the buyer to proceed through a portion of the checkout flow where they can select their address, shipping method and any other information configured in the checkout flow prior to creation of the CPQ Quote. After the CPQ quote has been finalized, during the create order process, information from the B2B buyer's cart is referenced when creating the order. Once the order is activated, the buyer will be able to view the order in their order history. A logging object is included to capture any errors that may occur during quote creation or placement of an order that intends to be displayed to B2B buyers.
