As the Project Manager and Senior Salesforce Analyst supporting the business at Copeland Canada, I worked with Simpliigence during a six-month engagement following our Salesforce Field Service implementation. The focus was primarily on ongoing support, issue resolution, and enhancements to help us improve the solution and address gaps identified after go-live. The Simpliigence team consisted of a Project Lead, Solution Designer, and Developer. Overall, they demonstrated a good understanding of both the business processes and the Salesforce Field Service platform. Their business analysis and solution design capabilities were particularly valuable in helping us evaluate enhancement requests and identify practical approaches to meeting business requirements. Communication was generally good throughout the engagement, and the team was responsive when issues or questions arose. Most project milestones were delivered on time, and the quality of the deliverables met our expectations. The team was able to balance ongoing support needs while also delivering incremental improvements to the platform. From a business standpoint, the work contributed to improvements in technician scheduling, increased visibility into field activities, and reduced some of the manual effort required to manage day-to-day operations. The solution has been successfully adopted by our field team, which includes seven technicians and a program coordinator, and the enhancements helped improve the overall usability of the system. One area where there is room for improvement is budget and effort planning. In hindsight, a more structured approach to scope management, estimation, and budget tracking from both sides would have helped set expectations more clearly throughout the engagement.
