Overview

Action Plans encapsulates best practices into reusable task templates. With this new version, Action Plans can be created for any standard or custom object, and can now be created using Flow or Apex! See description below for all the new features.

  • Import/export and share your Action Plan Templates with other orgs.

  • Supports Task reminder times and controls behavior around Chatter Notifications, actions when a Lead is converted, and default Task assignment behavior.

  • Invocable Apex allows automatic Action Plan creation from a Template in Process Builder and Flow.

Action Plans helps your organization encapsulate best practices into easily sharable, reusable task templates. An Action Plan can be created for an Account, Contact, Lead, Opportunity, Campaign, Case, Contract, or any Custom Object. Tasks can be pre-assigned to a specific individual or auto-assigned to the running user or owner of the parent record (Account, etc.). Best of all, in this new version, Action Plans can now be created automatically using Flow or Apex! Getting started couldn't be easier, but there are also detailed customization guides now available in case you'd like to integrate your Action Plans with custom objects, flows, processes, etc. Action Plans is open source software. We welcome your issue reports, ideas, documentation, code tweaks and all other participation.
