Alerts allow admins to configure conditions that prompt messages for the user to confirm prior to saving or creating a record on a STANDARD record layout. A real pop up window that appears before any system automations or validation run. No more messy checkbox + validation rule workarounds. The Salesforce app works in tandem with a chrome extension to allow Admins to configure conditions and generate a pop up message for business users on record save. Salesforce Managed Package • "Alert Rule" Custom object that stores the alerts that run for users • Wizard that allows admins to configure Alert Rule conditions easily • Tools to help Admins enforce the usage of the chrome extension for users Chrome Extension • Evaluates the configured Alert Rules targeted for the running user • Generates the pop up window on save operations within standard record forms • Allows users to continue or cancel save operations after prompting them with a custom message
