Salesforce Software Engineer

NAIS is seeking a full-time Software Engineer to join our team. The Software Engineer will design, implement, and deploy Salesforce.com based cloud application solutions for internal and external clients, work closely with business teams to understand business requirements and desired functionality, and partner with external consultancy teams and third party vendors to develop consistent solutions. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter (able to work independently on projects and as a member of a cross-functional project team with minimal supervision), have at least 3 years of experience in enterprise software engineering, and at least one year of experience with Force.com Apex and Visualforce development and with Salesforce.com configuration. The candidate will have a strong knowledge of relational databases and data modeling (including Salesforce.com SOQL, SOSL query language), Salesforce APIs, SOAP or REST based web services, and MVC concepts, object-oriented methodologies and approaches.
