We plan to build a Salesforce app for sending "armor-piercing" handwritten letters. We already have an API to send handwritten letters (letterfriend.com). We want to work with an excellent individual or team to build a Salesforce app on top of that API. Here is what we are thinking for the first version: 1. Each lead and contact view will have a "Send a Letter" button. 2. The "Send a Letter" button will bring you to a simple interface for writing a letter. - A text area with a word counter and a word limit of 50. - An address field that will be pulled from each contact/lead, but can also be filled in manually. - A button to "Send" a letter. 3. When "Send" is pressed: - Letter Friend's API will be called. (authentication via API key in a URL query param) - An activity is created in Salesforce. 4. Some additional details: - The Letter Friend API key needs to be stored in Salesforce. - This initial version does not have to be pretty -- it just has to work for 2-3 of our initial Salesforce clients. Also: - Whether you are an individual or an agency, we will ask you to arrange calls with 3 recent references. We will actually talk to them :).
