Works, but conflicts with apex triggers

This does what it's supposed to do, but is preventing me from deploying certain apex triggers. The two together max out CPU time limits pretty fast. At the very least, we need a way to temporarily deactivate the swarm rules so they can be worked around.

Does the Cloud Swarm App still work?

Does the Cloud Swarm App still work?####We have this app installed, but it is no longer working. I hate to waste more time troubleshooting if the Cloud Swarm App has been depracated. I attempted to ask on the Support page, but that appears to be broken/no longer available. Help!

Works but I have a problem

Love this app.....

Update.... at a new client and this requirement came up again... but for case team members to auto follow their cases...totally forgot id tested this over a year ago and went to put my review on needing to add case, account or opportunity team as a criteria and saw id commented exactly that last march!!!!####Just installed in sandbox and really impressed, what would be great also is opportunity follow based on team selling, so not just based on amount or ownership or stage but being part of the opportunity selling team.####Thanks

Cloud Swarm 3, SwarmHelper class

hi, need urgent assistance. we have package installed 'Cloud Swarm 3", SwarmHelper ‘class is running under existing users due to which we are facing Collision detection.##so when ever any user is trying to edit a case record it is showing the following error "The record you were editing was modified by 'some user name' during your edit session", and the user name showing at the error message is not modifying anything but the 'Swarm helper'##class is running under 'some user' this user name is showing at error message. can you please suggest how can we change the user who is running this class in the 'Cloud Swarm 3' package, and how to stop this error message showing.

A must have app for every org!

Very useful tool and we use it a lot especially for cases and opportunities! ####sorry to make a feature request here but I can't find a website to do that on. For "Feed post swarm" I have to pick WHO I want to follow based on text posted in chatter. My use case is this: Everytime in the future someone joins our community we auto post on the contact feed #communitymember and I would like that to trigger a follow for myself and anyone else that wants in on that swarm. I now have to pick the persons name in setting up the swarm which doesn't work as they don't exist yet....

Good app - but does not respect sharing model?

As a sys admin, I have created a few opportunity swarming rules. However, it seems like the swarming app also adds users to opportunities even though they do not have access it through the standard security model in Salesforce.####Is there any way to avoid this?

The code that that triggers the swarm (e.g. updates the opportunity) runs "without sharing" (see https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.apexcode.meta/apexcode/apex_classes_keywords_sharing.htm). This is to avoid the case where the user triggering the swarm does not have permissions to make another user follow the record, so they do not auto-follow it, even though they should. Unfortunately, this has the averse effect that people who don't have access to the record will be following it. In some cases, this is desirable when the user eventually gets permission to the record (e.g. when territories change for people in sales), and are already following records based on the previous swarms.####You can try changing "without sharing" to "with sharing" in the SwarmHelper class, but your mileage may vary depending on how your security model is set up.

Automatic Follow base Role below

I try this apps to generete auto follow all opportunity that had by any team, for example a Sales Manager wanna follow all opportunity that had by their sales team. so The Managers know all about opportunity that their team have.####but i dont found this rule in this apps, is that requirement can be solved by this Apps? Thanks

Not flexible enough

We reviewed this app on a sandbox environment however it proved to inflexible to meet our needs. Instead we created a simple trigger ready flow that we could call from any workflow rule to accomplish our goals.

Lack of Support or Documentation

Need two things out of this. 1. A way to mass delete rules, as my single rule created one for every user I tacked on. 2. My goal is to make all users see specific chatter posts without having to change views, yet it appears that even with the keyword, this isn't happening.
