The best support around

I chose Click & Pledge as the online payment solution at my last organization because they offered the best combination of features, flexibility, and cost. I had the opportunity to watch the C&P suite evolve through many updates – a sign that the development team takes user feedback very seriously and, more importantly, that they're committed to continuously fine-tuning the product. They also offer the best customer support around, something that I consider to be very important as I'm still fairly new to the Salesforce world.####I did my due diligence and shopped around a bit at my current organization before making a final decision on payment solution (just to be sure nothing had changed in the past year), but ultimately, I found myself right back with C&P. Honestly, there's nothing better.

My Donors Complained & Donations Didn't Post :(

I had four instances on 12/31/13 in which donors attempted to give money to my organization on the Connect platform and their donations failed to process. They didn't get any warning or message. The payments simply didn't arrive in our bank or get debited from their cards. I found out when the donors notified me. ####It wasn't that their cards were declined. In 3 cases, the donors tried again on Connect and the donations posted. In the 4th case, the donor went over to Razoo and successfully donated there. ####It's a HUGE problem when a donation platform can't process donations. ####Customer service has been slow and unhelpful so far. They don't have any idea what the problem is, and in fact haven't yet acknowledged that there is a problem.####I LOVE the Salesforce integration. It is easy to configure and such a wonderful benefit of using CnP. Their pricing is very reasonable. Their new Connect interface is really powerful. It has so much going right. ####But the customer service is definitely lacking. Look at the tone of CnP's responses to comments here - blaming the customer, sometimes vehemently. That's pretty typical of their customer service forum posts. ####Out of fairness, if customer service provides me with an indication that they've identified the problem with their Connect platform that caused the donations to fail, I will share it here. In the meantime, I'm back to square one and will be researching other giving platforms. The best Salesforce integration in the world isn't worth it if we are losing money from failed donations.

I've been using C&P's products since 2015 at my non-profit, and they are performing well without any failed donations or anything like that. I'm surprised this issue wasn't fixed...did you ever try visiting the live support hour that goes on at 3:00PM EST during the week?? ####(see this link: https://clickandpledge.zoom.us/j/198112546)

I just started with Click and Pledge and was waiting for the deposits to show up. I logged into the Transfirst site and saw the transactions were there but they weren't being batched and settled, I needed to call Transfirst a couple of times to solve the problem. They admitted it was their problem (Transfirst's) rather than Click and Pledge or myself. I don't see a way to check from Click and Pledge to see that the transactions are settling properly. However, these reports are available by logging into Transfirst. So far, I am happy with Click and Pledge and found the support hour works well.

Functional, but far from easy to use

My organization has been using C&P since we jumped into SF in 2014. I believe they are still the most cost-effective payment processing tool that integrates with SF, but possibly not if we include the many hours it takes to work with it. The app is clunky and fairly rigid in what it allows you to do wrt product structuring. The back end in SF is a total mess of tables that clutter the rest of our db and make it very difficult to find the information you are looking for. Their structure is far from streamlined. Connect app is awkward and not at all intuitive. Critical and recommended app upgrades are only announced through a forum that is cluttered with jibberish. You can't even tell what is considered critical.####On the positive side, it works. I don't believe we have ever lost a transaction and we have been able to make it do everything we need it to (with a lot of effort on our part). Tech support has always been pretty responsive, and they've always solved our problems (of which there have been many).

Best Customer Support Ever

Click & Pledge works smoothly for our non-profit and integrates well with Salesforce. Support is OUTSTANDING -- CNP goes above and beyond to help customers through upgrades and troubleshooting and just general support for the product. If you're a small non-profit like us, this IT support is invaluable.

Changed my review, I appreciate Click and Pledge stepping into help

Today, July 25, 2018: I appreciate Click and Pledge through Power of Us Hub communicating with ##me and then a follow-up phone call this evening. Thank you to Mr. Razvan for helping with an urgent problem we had in taking donations with American Express. Thank you to Debbie for the phone call to explain reposting transactions.##Click and Pledge is a good product and works well with Salesforce NPSP. It takes some digging to learn the product and I am glad I did.####Earlier review when we first installed the product...I call the phone number but all they do is send a help ticket and then I get an email 3 days or more later. No help at all. I am a new user and very disappointed until I can get help. I am trying to connect Click & Pledge to Salesforce NPSP Lighting for a non-profit.

Difficult to use

- Creating a website donor form, posting it to our site and collecting payments was super easy. This is C&P's best feature##- Setting up email autoresponder was difficult for us to get right##- If you're used to declarative setup in Salesforce, the C&P interface(s) will be a big letdown. It's very complicated to set up, use, and troubleshoot.##- C&P support is very good and responsive, but the help portal is not that easy to use. Plus, the C&P help portal community suffers greatly in comparison with Salesforce Success Community. Probably not a fair comparison, but if you're used to Salesforce Success, tamp down your expectations for C&P's online community help.##- Creating and updating contacts through C&P is a minor nightmare##- C&P's online user guide and documentation leaves a lot to be desired##- Having said that, there aren't a whole lot of better options on the App Exchange from what I hear. Hopefully C&P will continue to work on UX issues

Strong integration with Salesforce, strong support

My org uses the NPSP with various custom fields that need to be populated correctly from online donations. C&P's strong customization features made it easy to map fields from my donation forms to fields in Salesforce just exactly right.####As a small org, data cleanliness is important - we don't have the resources to dedicate to cleanup from duplicate Contacts arriving from online donations. C&P's "semi-automatic" match mode totally overcomes this issue, a great feature.####When I first got started with C&P as sysadmin I found the vast landscape of the C&P UI to be disorienting - until I attended their "office hours" and asked some question on the non-profit PowerOfUs Hub. Their support really went beyond the call of duty - they held my hand, provided detailed explanations, and answered every question to my satisfaction (and I asked many!). C&P even went so far as to listen carefully to my feature suggestions and implemented one - wow.####I also find C&P's "one price for everything" model nice and simple - I know how much I'm going to pay and I never have to think about buying "extras".

The greatest program and support!

Click & Pledge is a great program that is continually expanding and growing. I've recommended it to so many colleagues. It's got a lot of capability, which does make it a lot to learn, but once you learn, there is so much you can do. And their Support team is great and very available!

Great customer service - but complex setup

The only reason I held back on 5 stars is that setting up CnP is very complex from my standpoint as an accidental techie at a small nonprofit. But what we have managed to set up works very well and I especially love the virtual terminal in Salesforce for folks who call with CC gifts, and the CnP staff are extremely helpful and fast. We have only used it for one event so far, which went pretty well, and it has evolved quite a bit since then, so I am looking forward to using it again for that one day.####They have an extensive suite of things available at no more cost than the processing fee you would pay anyway. Just wonderful.

Customizable and Affordable

I really love Click & Pledge for online donation processing for nonprofits. The team is so responsive and always adding new functionality that their clients are asking for. They also offer daily "office hours" where you can hop online and share your screen and get your questions answered immediately. I've worked with a lot of online donation processing platforms and Click & Pledge is by far the most flexible and the least expensive as well. It's takes some technical knowledge of Salesforce in order to truly use all of its functionality, but any nonprofit who is using Salesforce should have at least one person on staff or a consultant who can set this up for them.

Great app that just gets better

C&P offers an affordable credit card processing service and a whole lot more. C&P's integration with Salesforce means even a small nonprofit can have a robust CRM system without spending thousands of dollars. We've used C&P and the Events application to manage conferences, golf tournaments and auctions. We've used Click and Pledge Connect to create our own "Go Fund Me" style donation campaigns without paying all the fees. We can do everything a much larger organization can do - accept credit card payments on-line and on-site, provide receipts and update donor records automatically - all at the cost of nearly nothing. It's almost like I have an extra staff person because of C&P. The support is truly excellent. The live office hours are an incredible value and a literal lifesaver for me - I can' thank Kami Razvan enough for all his help over the past two years! On top of this, C&P is always getting better. The newest version coming out in September 2016 promises to dramatically improve app - I can't wait for the new features that will improve the look of my donation pages and receipts. I won't need to know HTML to have a professional looking and appealing donation page ####Whenever I see a nonprofit using some other service, I always tell them to check out C&P. You'll be amazed at what you get!

Amazing support team

We picked Click & Pledge after reviewing a few apps and went with it for its features, customization, and cost. We've been happy with the product because it allows us to create custom donation pages for special projects or recurring givers. The app is pretty easy to use to connect to Salesforce data and I love that the data goes directly into our system so it saves me time. Also they have the BEST support of any app I've used. They're quick to respond and will help with your app upgrades for you. I love that Kamran, the CEO himself, even answers things on the Power of Us platform. They're even willing to survey their users to see what features we actually need and then build those into the system.
