Maggie Jolitz Director of Operations Services, NPI
Maggie moved 13 times before she was 18 years old (her father was in the Marines) then lived in Kansas City for 36 years. She’s an AppExchange customer advocate — that's why she’s featured in the film, “10-Year Anniversary of the Appexchange.” She has two grown daughters and currently lives in Atlanta.
It means listening, talking to people, understanding them. People say I teach people to fish. It's more like how can I help you? Let's put a roadmap together.
My vision is to help people understand the power of technology. It can be kind of daunting, right? I mean, I work with users who think they're too old to learn, and I think you're never too old to learn. You just got to open your mind up.
I went to a session with a Salesforce MVP and saw the things he's doing. Now MyLightning is relatively new, and I see the things he's doing with Lightning, and I'm like, my goodness, I don't know these things. I didn't even think of the possibilities. I really need to conquer that.
I strive to give people an easy way to do their work so they can do what they love. Recently, someone walked into my office and said this is too cumbersome. I took a look, did a few things. Soon she sent me a nice email saying you changed my life, now I'm more efficient, I can take on new responsibilities, and grow.
